Hi,
Error 500 can mean anything.
If you have access to the server error log, check what error appears when you access that page.
If not, try adding the following line to the config.php file that is in the main forum directory. If your hosting accepts it, that will cause the specific error to be displayed, instead of error 500

Apparently you have a problem with the chat configuration files.
Files may not have been uploaded correctly. Please upload the chat files back to the hosting. Make sure that inside the /ext/canidev/chat/config/ folder there are three files and they are uploaded correctly.
Then clean the cache from the ACP

The three files are in the folder
EDIT 1: Apparently the error was in that extra patch file for the errors in phpbb 3.3. I took the files from him and everything worked normally.
